Actually, I would guess that IS a good sign. I bet that has intellectual implications for multi-tasking and abstract thought. But don't take my word on it, I'm just guessing but I'd ask an expert. Yes, go to askanexpert.com and go to child development and ask. Then give him The Origin Of Species to read.

Well, he is a genius, but I did read that most kids are ambitextrous until preschool, sometimes kindergarten. But I haven't seen him favoring one or the other at all yet. He even eats with both hands! I give him to forks and he uses them both. Maybe I should give him four forks and see if he eats with two in each hand....
