He peed in the potty!!!
How cool is that?!? We were reading "Bye Bye Diapers" and when we were finished he yelled "potty" and ran to the bathroom. I sat him on the potty and he went pee! I'm so excited. He's proud of himself too. This is a great day.

To be honest, I don't push him on this stuff. I want him to be happy and healthy, and that's all I ask for him. But being wicked smart is cool if that comes natural too.
I just can't believe he is only 22 months old and peeing in the potty! I can't wait until we don't have to deal with diapers any more...but it is sad seeing him grow up so fast. :/
Parenting is filled with mixed emotions.
You can have another baby and go through the whole diaper thing again if you miss it. :)

I'm sure she would agree with you. Too bad my husband got a visectomy. Believe me, she set up road blocks and all kinds of destractions on the way to the hospital to have that done. lol
You'd love my mom, Annie. This morning when I told her about him going in the potty she said, "That doesn't mean he's potty trained yet..."
Moms. Sheesh.
Your mom sounds alot like mine. Regardless, that's a great first step. :)
